6. Loss of Mineral Density in Bones
Generally, anything related to bone strength is associated with calcium, phosphorous and minerals but there is an underlying fact. Vitamin D is responsible for absorbing calcium and minerals in our body and also aid in bone fortification. According to a study on women who were on the verge of menopause, it was found that they suffered from weaker bones due to low mineral density in bones. This has been attributed to the lack of vitamin D in the body.
